A Tour of Historic Rome
A rundown of the most beautifully historic city in the world.
It is said to be “the smallest and most important of the seven hills of Ancient Rome.” Here, you definitely do not want to miss the Victor Emmanuel Monument. At the top of the stairs you will see two guards standing beside a bowl of fire. I witnessed this while it was 35 degrees in Rome and the guards were fully clothed in thick jackets and rubber boots. It is a beautiful sight to behold and many stairs to ascend, but amazing once you get a closer look at the art work.
There’s simply no other city in the world that has so many beautiful historic spots to visit, and so close together. Now, get on the computer and book your Roman holiday because believe me, it will be worth it.
