How do we define empowered? If I’m to give a definition, I would claim that an empowered woman is someone who is “stronger and more confident, especially in controlling her life and claiming her rights.”
I have a 5-year old daughter and I’m empowered!
LOL bless those kids. So adorable, and smart. The only thing though… Why is the word “fuck” censored? F-word… That really bugs me. What kind of pilgrimage has the world turned into? Why so prude? Let’s all just say it “FUCK”! No more F-Word.. ?????
All I can say is, it’s all about being happy and making decisions. I definitely agree that in the corporate (working) world, we need “right” mentors and mingle with the right persons!
These days more and more people are going for Photoshop, fortunately or unfortunately… I donno.. I do occasional self portraits. And use my Photoshop skills to improve the photograph. I don’t change body types or major change. Just colour corrections, sharpness, and some levels. I want people to see me at my best, but at reality that reflects who I am.
This is great! I have two kids and would like one more, I love being a mom. But that’s my choice. It’s not for everyone. Women need to be free to choose how their lives go, without excuse or apology, and do what makes them happy.
I have a daughter who I’m so proud of… and I know I’m empowered even I have her. I would say she completed my purpose. But I’m not against women who opted not to have a child for whatever reasons. We all have our goals and how we achieve them depend on our actions and decisions.
I immediately think of Danielle Laporte… GIRL BOSS to the nines! ?? Loving all that you are sharing with us. Keep on doing you! ?
