  1. Could somebody pretty please tell me how these middle aged ladies reclaimed sexy by showing their bodies off? Is this Huffington Post’s understanding of sexy? If so, I’m never visiting that site again.

  2. I don’t know about most other brands, but I’ve read and heard a lot about Purina, and how dangerous it is for our pets. Even my vet calls it junk food. The company was sued for allegedly killing thousands of pets.

    • Since I have switched back to Purina pro plan savor my three dogs are lethargic, throwing up, diarrhea, fever. I started them all out on this product when they were puppies then they all got sick. Vet now says food is safe again so I switched back for one week now. Now going back to something other than a Purina product that is killing our dogs slowly.

  3. Is it just me or do the Bratz dolls look incredibly horrifyig with all that make up and weirdly shaped eyebrows? I never understood whey they are so popular. I love these more natural looking, madeunder versions waaaay better!

    • Would be a bit harsh to say that The Bratz are horrying looking dolls. But I agree that they’re a bit overdone. They have this drag queen vibe, and I think it’s harmless.

      My only question is, I see that she’s changing the dolls, and reselling them. Wonder if the company that produces the Bratz dolls is ok with that?

  5. I tend to feed my dog the same stuff as I eat, it doesn’t seem to do them any harm. No health problems whatsoever, he has great teeth and loads of energy. I’m giving him probiotics and some dry food as supplement. Tonight i’ll be feeding them spicy mince with peas and potatoes. 🙂

  6. Loved the article you shared. We single women face too many social challenges. I am single by choice, and I prefer it to stay that forever if possible. The soceity needs to stop acting like we’re freaks. Not everybody needs a “better half” to survive. I love being emotionally and financially independent.

  7. Applause to women! I believe three articles are perfect for women’s month:
    a. middle aged women who proved that, regardless of age, anyone can be sexy;
    b. article on being “single” (I believe women who opted to stay single made a powerful choice and decision);
    c. Lilli, the inspiration behind Barbie…

    Another great roundup, Urbanette!

  8. Single women, especially those who are above 30 get treated differently. People look at them as if something is wrong with them. Married or taken women see them a potential theat, everybody try to find them a mr right… Even realtors start acting weird when they find out when you’re buying a house, “ooooohhh you’re single, but you’re buying a 3 bedroom apartment.” Too much pressure from the society. It’s a big struggle.
