The idea that women can both own their sexuality and identify as feminist is one that doesn’t sit well within our society. But it’s about time we said adios to slut shaming and adopted the notion that all women can be feminists, regardless of their jobs, hobbies and sexual antics, so to speak.

What does enjoying sex have anything to do with feminism? You take charge of your life, you’re enjoying yourself and you’re not pushed doing something you don’t want. If this isn’t feminism then what is? Humans really need to learn the actual definition and meaning of feminism. Some people are such plebs in the head.
I’ve always thought it’s a cultural thing till I watched that video! I’ve never quite known how to accept compliments because being Asian, my parents have always emphasized on being humble. But now I make a conscious effort to accept compliments and say thank you, even when a little voice inside me still sometimes nags that I don’t deserve the compliment.
What’s so funny is that these same hipsters can actually make money off of social media because normal kids are stupid enough to think that a cool filter makes a cool life. Social media is high school. The more popular, the better. ? Ridiculous!
Feminism is a broad set of social and political positions. Feminism is not your personal, private sexual preferences. I don’t think that says anything significant about one’s personality outside the bedroom, much less my feminist beliefs.
I read something several years ago that said when you push back on a compliment, it’s like refusing a gift from someone, and that you should think about how you would feel if someone refused a gift you were offering to them. Their recommendation — smile and say, “Why, thank you!” If you feel the need to add more, feel free to say, “It’s really sweet of you to say that!” I’ve been practicing this ever since then. You know, it’s a beautiful thing to be able to truly accept the gift of someone’s compliment. And every time I feel like I should say, “… but I really don’t deserve your praise…” I just bite my tongue and change it to, “I really appreciate your saying that!”
I feel bad for Jennifer Aniston. Poor woman constantly pestered about being pregnant! Maybe just maybe she doesn’t want a baby or maybe she’s endured years of trying but can’t have one. Some news are just nasty!!!
Jeez… Poor Jennifer. Media should just leave the woman alone. Her whole world blew up when Pitt dumped her for a piece of trash. She has a new life, & would probably love to get pregnant. If she does, that’s good for her. But that’s nobody’s business but hers.
Feminism isn’t about changing how people act, it’s about changing how we think and how we’re accepted. If they choose to change how they act, awesome. If they decide they want to wear pink and wax all their hair off and be a stay at home mom, great. It’s about having the freedom to choose, not being forced to do either one! As long as you’re comfortable with yourself and you like your life and the choices you’ve made, then who the hell cares? Society needs stop judging people just because they make different choices or have different preferences. UGH
This is great. Would love to see Hipster Barbie do an outfit of the day pic with one foot turned in while looking up with innocent eyes and twirling of hair like she’s a “widdle girl”. ??? Definitely calling for some OOTD posts!
Being a sexual woman does not in any way make you a bad feminist. Consenting sexual acts are not a bad thing.
