It will show your confidence and make you that much more approachable. Even if you don’t snag a date, it’s bound to be an enlightening experience. I find that when I’m alone without the distractions of my laptop, my phone (please don’t sit at the bar with your smartphone out; you want to look alluring, not preoccupied!), and everything that needs doing at home or at work, I tend to have my most “ah-ha” moments. My mind slows down and I can see the situations in my life in a more objective way. Give it a go on your next free night. If it’s a terrible, horrible, no-good experience, you can always leave. I don’t think you’ll hate it; in fact I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

    Soulmate?! I think it’s a dopey concept…

    • To me, soulmates means someone who is a better match for you than you could have ever imagined. I found my soulmate in my husband. I don’t take it to mean anything religious…

      I don’t think so, there’s definitely something that can exist between two people, something so strong and disruptive we can’t really understand
